Music By the River: The Busted Jug Band!
Join us Saturday, May 30, 5-7pm, on our beautiful riverside deck for Music By the River with The Busted Jug Band! Played by men in top hats and derbies, the Busted Jug Band’s music is a festive romp through time inspired by the street bands of the early 20th century. The group features kazoos, washboard, mandolin, banjo-uke, washtub bass, harmonica, accordion, jug, rhythm bones, National guitar, slide whistle and bicycle horns.

Music By the River: The Alison Keslow Duo!
Join us Saturday, June 6, 12-2pm, on our beautiful riverside deck for Music By the River with The Alison Keslow Duo! Grab some friends and some delicious food from our cafe – then head to our riverside deck and enjoy Alison’s unique mix of jazz, fusion, Latin, rhythm and blues standards, funky grooves, and original compositions.

Wild Foraging Class With Ms. G.!
Join us Thursday, June 11, 5-7pm, behind the South Acton Firehouse (54 School St., Acton), for a Wild Foraging Class with Rachael Goclawski!
Rachel is a certified educator, naturalist, and wild food foraging guide and will take us through the woods and trails behind the fire station to find medicinal herbs and flowers, nutritious buds, stalks, roots and greens. She’ll teach us how to identify the plants safely, methods of preparation and preservation, and all about their nutritional and medicinal value. Bring a camera and/or notebook so you can document our finds, collection bags (plastic), and a knife or shears. Wear comfortable walking shoes or boots as the terrain may be uneven or muddy. Insect spray and sunscreen are recommended.

Join us Saturday, July 25, 12-2pm, on our beautiful riverside deck for Music By the River with the Lori Z. Jazz Trio! Grab some friends and some delicious food from our cafe โ then head to our riverside deck for a real jazz treat. Loriโs sultry, smoky, swinging jazz vocals have been gracing various jazz, rock, blues, and R&B bands for over 25 years at venues from Boston to Worcester to Cape Cod and beyond. She’ll be joined by Molly Flannery on piano and Bill McCormack on bass.
